The 1400 Red Pine comes from vines planted in 1996 in payments Barranco Oscuro, about 1300 meters high, with shale and clay soils. Trellis with royat double cordon training. The yield does not exceed 2 kilos per plant, less than 25 hectoliters / hectare.

All the vineyards are cultivated traditionally naturally, no herbicides, pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used. Later this year a supply of compost / humus which helps retain water in low rainfall takes place. one or two sulfur are made against powdery mildew, leaving no residue. Everything else is effort (physical and mental) to get the best of nature without compromising their future.
Handpicked by a rigorous selection of grapes by foot strain. Maceration with the whole bunch in stainless steel tanks where fermentation begins spontaneously form naturally, without adding yeast or any other product. No manipulation of the fermentation temperature but the freshness of the autumn nights are exploited (the winery is located at 1280 meters high). The malolactic fermentation took place also naturally during the aging in barrels in the underground cellar. It has not been used Sulfur Dioxide * or any other additives or preservatives. Unclarified. Lightly filtered to bottling to prevent the entry of solid particles.

* The maximum legally permissible in red wines amount of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) is 160 mg / l. From 10 mg / l must be provided on the label that the wine contains SO2 with the expression "contains sulfites"
