Olivar del Carmen has been awarded at the Guild of Fine Food with two stars of The Great Taste 2014.
The judges commented this exceptional Extra Virgin Olive Oil as it follows:
“You get a very fresh quality to this Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Distinct grapefruit flavours come through and the gentle peppery finish lingers nicely. A lovely balance of clean freshness and pronounced olive flavours.”
Each year the best food is awarded with these prizes because of its great quality and taste. Being an Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a blind tasting is held by 12 experts.
After getting the award Olivar del Carmen stated the following:
“We have always been proud of our achievements over the generations. Each autumn we have waited for the best moment to begin the harvest, gathering each olive with the greatest care and transporting it, as quickly as possible, to the mill. In this way we can ensure the excellent quality of our treasure of the Mediterranean diet.
This award confirms that we are working in the right direction and has inspired us to continue to improve day by day, season by season, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil.”
