Its spongy texture and its fish flavor, it is not as intense as other species of marine algae, makes them particularly suitable for beginners in these products.

Organoleptic characteristics: Salted fish smell. Intense green color and spongy texture
and flexible. Their taste is similar to the crust of brochettes.
Conservation: in cool and dry place and not exposed to light. Once opened, keep within the container.
It is a natural product without preservatives or colorings.
Conservation Techniques: Algae dehydrated artisanal process according to the Japanese tecnique, when hydrated they increase
ten times their weight.
Culinary Applications: to re-acquire form they should be soaked for 5 minutes in water
with salt, and may be used as an ingredient in preparations without liquid, such as sauteed, panaches, scrambled eggs,
omelets or sauces, rectifying of salt if necessary.
They can be used directly when the recipes are watery, such as soups, stews, sauces,
rice dishes, fideua, .
The soaking water can be used for cooking, because it acquires properties of seaweed and sea flavor.
Recommended Amount: 5 - 10gr dry / person (equivalent to 50-100gr hydrated)
nutritional properties: rich in calcium, iron and vitamin C. Presence of unsaturated fatty acids
(omegas) and essential amino acids
